Montreal, April 7, 2005 - Vision Globale Launches VOD CanadaT B2B Distribution Now a Reality

Vision Globale today announced the launch of VOD CanadaT . This unique Internet platform is designed to reduce operating costs, improve information flows and provide greater control over transactions between distributors and broadcasters for VOD, Pay-Per-View and Satellite.

The VOD CanadaT website features private and secure access, database containing all content Metadata, and access-management tools providing complete control of digital deliveries to broadcasters. This proprietary asset-management platform allows real-time tracking of orders and deliveries!

VOD CanadaT is an extension of Wired-VisionT. This application has been used for many years by Vision Globale's customers to manage physical elements stored at Vision Globale (Wired-VaultT). Wired VisionT is supported by a powerful SAN (Storage Area Network) from which complex tasks can be executed quickly and efficiently on all stored elements. With the addition of VOD CanadaT , Wired-Vision becomes the first B2B transactional application designed for broadcast deliveries in both the video and data world.

Vision Globale has been offering VOD encoding services to distributors, cablecasters and telephone companies for over three years. This new service was developed as a result of an in-depth study of the needs of the industry which was triggered by significant rise of MPEG2 files by broadcasters worldwide.
