Global Vision / CitéLab completes its Digital Intermediate Film / HDTV services

Montréal - April 8, 2004 - CitéLab, the only North American film laboratory with ISO 9001-2000 certification, purchases ARRILASER Performance film recorder.


CitéLab is a division of Vision Globale, provider of technical and creative services for film
and television postproduction. With the purchase of the ARRILASER Performance 35mm film
recorder, CitéLab now offers complete digital intermediate process and begins Phase 2 of its
development.

After rigorous testing of the wide range of systems available, CitéLab selected the ARRILASER
Performance based on its resolution, exceptional picture quality and high productivity.
With the CMS (Color Management System) option, the ARRILASER Performance allows perfect
digital color balancing using Da Vinci 2K for theatrical release.

The film recorder's main features include:
- Camera Color Negative option, giving images transferred from video the appearance of actual film
- High Definition option, for recording from HD sources
- Resolutions supported: video (NTSC, PAL), 2K, 4K, 4K Native Academy
- 3 Perforations option, allowing 3 perfs instead of 4 when possible
- A new calibration system (Aquamat), which maintains equipment settings at their optimal value,
guaranteeing unrivalled quality and consistency

CitéLab and Vision Globale offer filmmakers the full range of skills and services required for the
postproduction and distribution of feature films, television series, documentaries and music videos.
These services include, among others, film processing, film transfer, video editing, conversion
and duplication, subtitling and closed-captioning, DVD creation, audio postproduction and dubbing,
image and sound restoration, and a film and video stock-footage library.
