Since its inception in 1989, Global Vision has grown from a small standards conversion house into a full service facility offering Visual effects, Post-production and Asset Management & distribution services. Organic growth and acquisition of specialized SMEs ensured its leadership position in the fast changing media and entertainment industry.
GV now ensures one stop shop services for production, distribution, broadcasting and archival of feature films, movies of the week, TV series, commercials, video clips, documentaries and archives. GV also owns the largest Canadian Stock footage agency, Wired-Images, and the world leading genre film festival, Fantasia.
Over the years, GV’s performance has been based upon taking the best from the past and expressing it in the spirit and language of today with a perspective of tomorrow. With some 200 top creative talents, skilful technicians and innovative engineers located in 3 highly specialized technical centers in Montreal totalling 80,000 square feet, all the work we do and the way we do it is distinctly Global Vision.
